ABOUT JAY
Hailed by Newsweek as one of the Top 15 Innovators of 2019, Jay Lin has weaved his life as a gay dad, a media executive, a gay activist and a movie producer together into one singular focus: to elevate LGBT visibility and accelerate acceptance in Taiwan and beyond.
Jay founded Portico Media, a dynamic hub for content development, production, distribution and marketing 15 years ago and has received numerous awards, including the Golden Horse for Best Short Film and the Taipei Film Festival Best Feature Awards.
He is also the founder of Taiwan International Queer Film Festival, HahaTai, GagaTai/LalaTai, Queermosa Awards and the streaming platform GagaOOLala.
